Jeff is the managing partner of Trusted Capital Partners and a Registered Representative with Saxony Securities, Inc. He brings integrity, strategic vision, and principle-based leadership from a career of service as a Marine Corps officer into a career serving as a trusted resource for clients with appreciated investment properties.

A 5th generation Texan from a family of veterans, Jeff commissioned after graduating with a degree in Agriculture Economics from Texas A&M University. Over his ensuing 30 year career he deployed to Africa and the Middle East, including leading a reinforced battalion in Afghanistan in 2010. After command as a Colonel, he served as the Senior Marine Representative and Dean of the School of Humanities at the United States Naval Academy.

In his transition from the military, Jeff pursued an interest in real estate that led him to the securities industry and 1031 eligible investment options, specializing in personalized and tax-smart strategies for property owners as well as asset-based giving solutions for philanthropy. He established Trusted Capital Partners to address the two challenges of fully capturing capital gains when a property is sold and then wisely investing to protect capital, especially for those transitioning away from active property management.

To do that Trusted Capital Partners regularly combines 1031 tax deferred exchanges with Delaware Statutory Trusts and other alternative investments. Their customized solutions are designed to match accredited investors’ personal investment goals and mitigate risk with high-quality, diversified property portfolios focused on capital preservation, passive, tax-efficient income, and giving strategies.

Jeff holds FINRA Series 63 and 22 securities licenses, advanced degrees in national security, and is a member of the Realtors Land Institute (RLI) and the Texas Alliance of Land Brokers (TALB). He serves on the Board of Directors for TALB and Patrol Base Abbate, a non-profit supporting the entire veteran community, and is a member of Tun Tavern Fellowship, a faith-based organization for Marines. He is married with three sons and enjoys the outdoors, traveling, and spending time on his family farm. His diverse experiences and commitment to service make him a trusted resource in the investment industry.
